Since using Firefox with the flashplayer version it supports, I have to move my mouse to get a video to unfreeze.
Every time I watch a video, whether it is YouTube, or just trying to watch a video from any other page, It pauses while the sound continues to play. Only when I move my mouse or click and open my network bar icon in the toolbar (which shows all the networks or routers within range of my wireless adapter) and leave it open...does the video seem to play all the way through without hanging up. Once I move the mouse or open that network icon, the video has continued on and I have to rewind it to the point where it froze on my screen. What causes this? I didn't used to get this issue with Internet Explorer and the flash player version it uses. Very frustrating issue. My Norton 360 doesn't detect any viruses or malware either. Using Windows 7 Pro btw. Anyone have this issue with videos freezing until you move your mouse?

hello, since multiple other affected users with similar symptoms have reported that this was an issue caused by malware on their pc, please run a full scan of your system with multiple other security tools like the free version of malwarebytes and adwcleaner as well.
Philipp, I used the Malwarebytes free trial version as you suggested and it found a whole huge list of a program called Mindspark?? have you heard of this? I think it was a video converter or some kind. Now the videos don't appear to be hanging up during play, and I can view videos again in full screen which was another issue that forced me to have to move my mouse continuously to get the video to stay running without pausing. both the smaller and full screen videos seem (So far) to run smoothly now. BUT I also downloaded adwcleaner, and it removed a screensaver I had bought years ago called Serenescreen3 which was a digital fishtank that was the best I had found. Adwcleaner seems to delete the files without having any kind of quarantine folder so i could restore it. Now the screensaver is asking me for the keycode I had been given when i made the purchase years ago. I don't have the key code anymore. So I basically lost my screensaver and the money I paid if there isnt a way to restore things deleted with Adwcleaner. Is there a way to restore my lost screensaver program?
adwcleaner should quarantine entries in one of its subfolders created directly on the c:-drive of your computer...
Ok found the folder, now how do i restore the program data file and the program file. I dont see any button appear when I right click that simply says restore. like the recycle bin does.
ok, in this case i's ask you to post that question over at the adwcleaner forum at https://toolslib.net/forum/viewcategory/1-adwcleaner/ since i don't know the details on how to proceed from there...
Sigh. ok. Not going to go through the hastle of trying to find out how to manually restore files in the right locations for those guys.. If that would even work now that my key code got removed from the screensaver. lol I should have just left my video player glitchy and not used any online malware freeware. I just hope that my video player continues to work smoothly without hanging now, and that I didnt just get lucky with my first few tests after using malwarebites and adwcleaner and lost my screensaver for nothing. Blah. Need coffee. lol
