Only on this one computer do I frequently find I am no longer logged in to my Firefox account. I get that warning sign in the top right corner of the screen and it invites me to log in so I can sync with my other devices. If there's a cookie I need to tell Ccleaner to ignore, tell me which it is. This morning I logged in again when I saw I was not logged into my Firefox account. I also updated Flashplayer or somesuch from Adobe. Maybe that's what logged me off. Then again, I had to restart my browser to complete the install of the Adobe. Ccleaner would have kicked in then. Thanks!

The login credentials for the Firefox Account are stored as an hidden entry in the Password Manager. If you need to login again to the Firefox Account with username and password then it looks that this login data is lost. Make sure you aren't deleting passwords.

Thanks, FredMcD and cor-el, but I still got disconnected again, this time without exiting Firefox. I worked through your instructions, FredMcD. Cor-el, I'm not sure how to make sure I'm not deleting passwords.

Is the Password Manager (Lockwise; about:logins) working properly ?

You can open logins.json in a Firefox tab and search for a hostname key named chrome://FirefoxAccounts to see if there is such an entry present that stores the Sync credentials.

Cor-el, I do not save any passwords on my computer, so Password Manager would not seem to be an issue. Btw, I find it interesting that, even though I'm logged in again to Firefox, it asks me to login in order to reply to this string.

If the Firefox Password Manager isn't able to store the Sync credentials then you will have to login each time you start Firefox. I think that Firefox will always automatically try to store this data in logins.json. Only if the master password is used then you will notice getting prompted for the MP. So this is either about letting Firefox store the Sync credentials in logins.json or login manually.

Cor-el, I do not mind letting Firefox Password Manager store the Sync credentials, but I do not know how to tell it to do so, nor to stop it from not doing so.

Running FFox version 74.0, so pasted in about:preferences#privacy. Did not see Forms & Passwords but did see "Logins & Passwords". Two main options exist: "Ask to save logins and passwords for websites" and "Use a master password". Neither of these two main options are check-marked, but under the former all three sub-options are checked, the first two greyed-out so they cannot be un-checked: "Autofill logins and passwords," "Suggest and generate strong passwords," and finally "Show alerts about passwords for breached websites". I clicked on "Saved logins" to check passwords I may have saved, but there are no passwords in the list. (I have not asked it to save any passwords.) What's next for me to do?
