Using the code below, Firefox consitently crashes during the db.setVersion("1.0") call, often without any errors or warnings. It doesn't go to the error function or success function.

After clearing the cache, site preferences and offline storage and refreshing the browser, it will come back and create or delete the objectStores, but it is very inconsistent and not reliable.

I'm trying to figure out why it keeps crashing and avoid it, I need a consistent and reliable way to create and delete objectStores in the IndexedDB. Any help is appreciated, thanks.

try {
			$wnd.alert("CreateFormRefDB.createFormRefDB() #2");
			var request = mozIndexedDB.open("TEST");
			request.onerror = function(event) {
				$wnd.alert("There was an Error opening IndexedDB!");
			};
			request.onsuccess = function(event) {
				$wnd.alert("CreateFormRefDB.createFormRefDB() #3");
				var db = event.target.result;
				var request = db.setVersion("1.0");
				request.onerror = function(event) {
					$wnd.alert("Error db.setVersion(1.0)");
				};
				request.onsuccess = function(event) {
					$wnd.alert("CreateFormRefDB.createFormRefDB() #4");
					objectStore = db.createObjectStore("formref", { keyPath: "localFormRefId"});
					objectStore.createIndex("formId", "formId", { unique : true });
					objectStore.createIndex("formName", "formName", { unique : false });
					$wnd.alert("new ObjectStore.name = " + objectStore.name);
				};
			}
		} catch(err) {
			$wnd.alert(err.message);
		}
