Firefox crashes
I upgraded firefox from 7.5 to 8.0 and have not been able to run firefox without it crashes as it loads. I have not been able to get crash IDs as firefox does not run long enough for me to even click the firefox button.

Create a new profile as a test to check if your current profile is causing the problems.
See "Basic Troubleshooting: Make a new profile":
There may be extensions and plugins installed by default in a new profile, so check that in "Tools > Add-ons > Extensions & Plugins" in case there are still problems.
If that new profile works then you can transfer some files from the old profile to that new profile, but be careful not to copy corrupted files.

If you have submitted Breakpad crash reports then post the IDs of one or more Breakpad crash reports (bp-xxxxxxxx-xxxxxxxxx-xxxx-xxxxxxxxxxxx). You can find the IDs of the submitted crash reports on the about:crashes page. You can open the about:crashes page via the location bar, like you open a website.

I created a new profile but it did not help. Firefox still crashes as soon as it opens. One of crash report id numbers is Crash ID: bp-647c764e-3977-4eca-9fa0-6890c2111109. I really need to get this solved or be able to download firefox 7.5 which was working just fine with no problems. Thanks for your help and I am waiting to here back from you
