I have a website that wont render correctly. It will not render most of the css on the firefox installation on my main computer. I have tried loading that website on multiple computers with the same version of firefox (signed into the same firefox account) and they all work. The website also works fine on Microsoft edge installed on my main computer.

The weird thing is, if I try to load that exact same website when it is downloaded to my computer, (from my hard drive) it works fine and looks perfect (same browser, exact same code).

I have tried to clear my data, and disable all extensions and plugins and that did not work.

Does anyone have any suggestions of ideas I can try before I reinstall the browser on my computer?

I am running Windows 10, Firefox x64 version 81

Make sure you are not blocking content.

Start Firefox in Safe Mode {web link}

A small dialog should appear. Click Start In Safe Mode (not Refresh). Is the problem still there?

Can you post a link to a publicly accessible page (i.e. no authentication or signing on required)?

You can check the Web Console (Tools -> Web Developer) for messages about blocked (CSS) content and about the presence of mixed or unsafe content.

You can check the Network Monitor to see if content is blocked or otherwise fails to load.

If necessary use "Ctrl+F5" or "Ctrl+Shift+R" (Mac: Command+Shift+R) to reload the page and bypass the cache to generate a fresh log.

I started it in safe mode and then the problem disappeared. Then I reopened Firefox not in safe mode (I had made no changes) and it still worked!!

That was very good work. Well Done.
