Hi G-hot, you wrote:

How long before the problem returned? Was it before you closed Firefox for the first time? Immediately after you closed and restarted Firefox? Later?
This result means that either you, or an add-on, or an external program changes your settings or your connection or interacts with Youtube pages in a way that causes this behavior. The problem is tracking down which one it is...
Create a new profile did not help me fix the problem if more than 2 weeks and the problem still pops up? Note that this problem occurs only on YouTube! So is a bug in the version of Firefox 23.0. & 23.0.1 & 24
The problem goes back after the computer shut down unexpectedly / In some cases, the problem occurs when restoring the default settings of Firefox! Problem occurs almost daily, so this is a problem and a bug in Firefox!
restore the default settings of Firefox for once it does not correct the problem (Firefox is unable to clean up old Firefox data correctly) this is also a bug!

Can you update the description of the problem? The subscribe button does not work for you. What else is not working correctly?
Also, you mentioned that this problem can be solved temporarily by using the Reset feature, but the problem returns.
Can you disable your extensions and see whether that solves the problem and, if so, for how long?
orange Firefox button (or Tools menu) > Add-ons > in the left column, click Extensions
Usually a link will appear above at least one disabled extension to restart Firefox. You can finish disabling everything and click one of the links as the last step.
First, I do not have Firefox extensions except extensions for important programs such as RealPlayer and Hotspot So I do not think that the problem of these browser extensions! I needed to, browser extensions "to be enabled because I needed to download videos from YouTube!
The other problem is when I try to subscribe to one of the YouTube channels then nothing happens, and to solve this problem, which was forced to restore the default Firefox settings...

I suddenly got the same problem in Firefox 24 today. It may have had something to do with the updates to Java or something, because the only change I had was going from Java 7.40 to java 7.45 lately. It's the only thing I can think of that has changed.
I managed to "solve" the problem (make youtube work although not completely satisfactory - images do not load) by installing the AddOn Extension called "NoScript" and denying the ytimg script.
the page does not reload now - it reloaded so fast and so continually that it was impossible to enter anything into it.
But this is not a FIX and nothing is solved here.
Módosította: Zid,
Hi Zenzid, a lot of Youtube scripts are from ytimg.com, so I'm surprised the works at all with that domain blocked... maybe you are getting a more basic page that works just as well?
It is a useful clue, however, both about the Java change and the script blocking, because it suggests the script is checking for something and then reloading the page when it finds or doesn't find it. The hard part with the complexity of the site is tracking down what it is...

Hi G-hot, those look like the release notes for Firefox 25 beta. Are you have any better luck with that version? Or just researching it at this point?
hi jscher2000
I know this! But I have updated to the latest version 25.0! The release note for 25 beta-(Resetting Firefox no longer clears your browsing session
DEVELOPER)- what does it mean? Does this mean it's a bug, as I guess?

Hi G-hot, what the change means is that in addition to the data copied over by the Reset feature before (for example, bookmarks, passwords), it now copies over the file which stores the windows and tabs from your last session. Some people who keep a lot of tabs open for weeks or months at a time had a bad response to the Reset feature because it was a lot of work to manually recover that list.
