How do I clear top sites?
The top sites screen is populated with every webpage that I visit. 1. Is there a way to limit / control additions to the top sites screen to sites that I choose, not ever webpage visited? 2. Is there a way to delete multiple top site links at the same time?
Thanks for your help.

hello snyderle, you can set the topsites that are shown yourself by long-tapping on a spot and selecting "edit".
I attempted the suggested solution, but I did not get an edit menu. I tried pressing the screen and what I thought was a long tap. Perhaps my techique is improper. Is it possible that the Galaxy Note 10.1 is not designed for long taps to open the edit menu?
Again I appreciate the help that's been offered.
hm, the device you're using shouldn't make a difference there. just tap on one of the thumbnails on the "top sites page" for about three seconds - then a menu should pop up which allows to edit this spot (among other options)...
I stepped through the suggested solution again. This time I long-tapped a tile on the top sites page. The menu pops up and I located the edit option. However, when I select "edit" the next screen is a listing of webpage links, but no secondary menu. Again, I may be missing a step. If so, please point out the error of my way.
Thank you for the follow up answer.
once you tap on edit you get a sort of addressbar with suggestions beneath it - you can type into the top field and add any custom url into it that will get pinned to that place instead.
I attempted the suggested solution. However, it did not prevent the addition of new tiles (webpages visited) on the top sites screen nor did it clear all unpinned tiles on the top sites screen when I exited Firefox.
I realize that I have framed my question differently than in my prior submittal. But the question is framed better now.
Thank you for your continued assistance. I responded to a short survey from the support team and noted my appreciation for your help.
