Why does this website cause Firefox to use 50% of my processor cycles?

more options

My local newspaper has a website with the day's news and other feature. The site is www.cincinnati.com. If I keep a tab open with that sight, Firefox uses constantly 50% of the processor cycles and, of course, slows all other applications. Why would one particular site cause this? There doesn't seem to be anything on the site running in the background although I suppose it is being updated as new news items are put out to the site.

Thanks in advance for any suggestions or other help.

Well first of all, that website is really powerful and amazing! It is really nice and has a lot of power. What kind of computer are you using and what kind of processor are you using? That will help better diagnose the problem.

Kenzabon,

Any other ideas as to why this web site eats up half of my processor cycles?
