When watching shows, on NBC,ABC,CBS, HULU, firefox is very slow and laggy. switching to Chrome, is a much more stable platform. The shows are very choppy, and at times it is so bad they will completely quit. I do not have that problem with chrome, so I know it is not my computer. can you help me ??

If you have problems with current Shockwave Flash plugin versions then check this:

  • see if there are updates for your graphics drive drivers

https://support.mozilla.org/kb/upgrade-graphics-drivers-use-hardware-acceleration

  • disable protected mode in the Flash plugin (Flash 11.3+ on Windows Vista and later)

  • disable hardware acceleration in the Flash plugin

Appreciate the advice, but all of that has been done. all the latest drivers and the latest flash player. The problem is, that Chrome runs great. the only problem I have is with Firefox. I was having a small problem with Chrome, untill I updated the flashplayer.

Several plugins, including flash, were updated several times last month.
