I don't know what's going on with Firefox 6 . . . but I' getting pretty tired of the constant stalling and "program not responding". I've cleaned my computer, deleted cookies and cleared the cache and the crashes are becoming more frequent.

I've gone through the self-help steps all to no avail.

I thinking about just going back to regular IE. something needs to get fixed or addressed.

If you open firefox in Safe Mode, does that fix your problem?

Does it crash, or just hang? If it crashes, the easiest way for us to find out why firefox is crashing is for you to give us your crash report number.

  1. Type about:crashes in the Address bar and hit enter
  2. Look for your crash report number, based on the time and date.
  3. If you would like to, you can click on the report number and get a detailed summary, but it is pretty hard to understand. If you give us the number, we can decode it for you.
