(Error code: ssl_error_bad_mac_read), how do I fix this? Another error is also about message length although have not captured a copy of that. only happens on facebook

Can you please install Firefox 7 and post us back?

Was unable to upgrade due to a side by side configuration error. Am sorry am not sure what that means. Have had that message before with flash player as well but that resolved itself in the end. lol it seems one error is leading or dependent on another (just my luck!!)

Yes have checked that all correct. I previously replied but a page problem came up. I have cleared cache, run anti virus scans, anti malware, ccleaner, rebooted, run updates etc etc lol And now a clean install. Problems have been going on for a while intermittently but more so today for some reason, no updates or downloads that I am aware of.

Are you using any extension that forces a secure https connection?

Start Firefox in Diagnose Firefox issues using Troubleshoot Mode to check if one of the extensions or if hardware acceleration is causing the problem (switch to the DEFAULT theme: Firefox (Tools) > Add-ons > Appearance/Themes).
