Firefox loads some sites as the mobile version rather than computer version where it used to load the desktop version, desktop versio opens in IE
While accessing the Frys Food website digital coupon tab in Firefox, I accidentally stroked a key(s). My computer loaded the mobile version of the of the coupon site. I can't return to the full/computer version of the website. The mobile version displays only on Firefox.
Contacted Frys Foods, they have no explanation except that some browsers have the option to display the mobile version. They tried reproducing the problem but could not do so.
I uninstalled Firefox and then reinstalled it, but this site still appears in the mobile version. I visit this site daily/weekly and use Firefox exclusively. Really troublesome to open another browser to view this site in its desktop version. Yesterday I accessed The Krazy Coupon Lady (website). It too displayed in the mobile version. Can't see any way to get the computer version back. Clearly this is a problem unique to Firefox.

Hi gratefulguest, it sounds like a cookie stored that preference when you clicked the mobile version. Please try to clean the history with these instructions:
Make sure that the width of the browser window is large enough.
Website may switch to a mobile version if the detect that the browsing window is below a specific limit.
Zooming a page (View > Zoom) or opening the sidebar (View > Sidebar) can cause such a reduction to happen.
As posted above, clearing the cookies and possibly the cache as well should reset this and make the site offer you the desktop version.
Clear the cache and cookies only from websites that cause problems.
"Clear the Cache":
- Firefox/Tools > Options > Advanced > Network > Cached Web Content: "Clear Now"
"Remove Cookies" from sites causing problems:
- Firefox/Tools > Options > Privacy > Cookies: "Show Cookies"
