Soluzione scelta

The Yahoo toolbar add-on becoming disabled in Firefox 43 is a known issue that Mozilla and Yahoo are working on. In this particular case you can follow the instructions to toggle the xpinstall.signatures.required preference to false in the Firefox Configuration Editor (about:config page). Important: Changing this preference is only a temporary solution which will no longer work in Firefox 44.

To learn more about add-on signing, see the article Add-on signing in Firefox and https://wiki.mozilla.org/Add-ons/Extension_Signing.

Update: The Yahoo toolbar add-on was updated on December 29, 2015. The latest version resolves the problem. If you followed instructions to change the xpinstall.signatures.required preference to false in the Firefox Configuration Editor (about:config page) as a workaround, you should reset the preference back to true, which is the default value.
