PDF print errors on a mac
We have been seeing various errors when printing PDF files through Firefox on any of our Macbook Pro or iMac machines. We have seen documents that do not print past page 3, text from the top of the page being overlayed on top of rest of document and print jobs that ignore orientation and margin selections. We have tested it through multiple printers with no luck. Using Safari or Chrome allows it to print perfectly fine. I suspect it is the adobe plugin but I do not have the means to confirm this.
I have attached a photo of one of our formatting issues we have seen. Any thoughts would be welcome.

If i download it and print through any means other that firefox directly it prints fine.
To determine whether this is a problem with the built-in PDF viewer or the Adobe plugin, could you check the PDF toolbar and/or context menu? I have attached a screenshot (from Windows) for comparison.
Here are the screenshots similar to yours (if that was what you were asking for). I have since found the adobe acrobat plugin and disabled it, but i still receive the error.
On Win 7 and the current release, no issue when printing with MS Document Writer or PDF Creator.
Hi tolandese, that is the built-in Firefox PDF viewer. It sometimes has problems with correct rendering, since it is dissecting the PDF and re-laying it out using HTML. While I didn't notice any strange issues printing that particular PDF on Windows, perhaps there is a font issue that is causing the strange overlaid outlines on Mac?
You can use the download button at the upper right of the black toolbar, just next to the printer icon, to open it externally in another viewer as a temporary workaround until someone figures out the source of the problem.
Thank you for your assistance. So far I have just redirected everyone here to another browser in the meantime and I never considered just suggesting this option. It is entirely possible it is a font issue but i don't know if that would explain the other issues completely. For now we will use the workarounds suggested and hopefully mozilla knows about this issue and finds a fix. I am concerned that since I have heard no complaints from other mac users that it might be internal.
