Need to know how to make PDF documents open from web pages
When I have a web page that has a PDF document, when I select it it will open a new tab, but the PDF document never opens.

If the PDF is viewable directly in Firefox or in the Adobe software you will probably get an option to save the pdf file.

Note the viewer has a download option from the toolbar top right. - Use Adobe Reader to view PDF files in Firefox
I note you have the extension PDF Download 3.0.0.2.1 installed, you may need to follow the instructions from that extension, or possibly even disable that if it interferes with Firefox's built in viewer.
