2 months ago the email links to articles that I had been using for years stopped working. Error message says can't connect with the web site. This is a very popular web site.

Can you copy the link in the message and post it here?

Don't know what you mean. Do you want the error message or the email? Don't know how to "post" it.

I received the newsletter. I had no problem with the links in it.

Start Firefox in Safe Mode {web link}

A small dialog should appear. Click Start In Safe Mode (not Refresh). Is the problem still there?

I'm not sure what you mean by "try Secure websites".

I'm sorry , I don't get what this is supposed to indicate. I am able to access all websites, including the one for the organization that sends me this email. It's only a problem when I click on the link in the email.

Are you accessing the e-mail using a web browser or an e-mail browser?

Open the message. Right-click on the link and select Copy Link. Now paste the link here.

It looks like your problem maybe there is a problem with re-directs.

If there is still a problem, Start Firefox in Safe Mode {web link} by holding down the <Shift> (Mac=Options) key, and then starting Firefox.

A small dialog should appear. Click Start In Safe Mode (not Refresh). Did this help?

While you are in safe mode;

Try disabling graphics hardware acceleration {web link} in Firefox. Since this feature was added to Firefox it has gradually improved but there are still a few glitches.

Tried all of the above and am still having the same problem. Should I start in Safe Mode and Refresh or not?

This is very complicated and I don't know how to print out the instructions so I can see what to do while I am in Firefox changing a bunch of stuff. What order do I do them in?

The redirect is done via a location header in the HTTP response headers.
