Search for text when I start writing not working, I clicked the tab under tools and option and advance tab for the option to allow me to do this. Previous version worked but the newest one is not working. Java script is enabled.

Start Firefox in Diagnose Firefox issues using Troubleshoot Mode to check if one of the extensions is causing the problem (switch to the DEFAULT theme: Firefox (Tools) > Add-ons > Appearance/Themes).
