thunderbird mail merge 4.6.0 is altering recipient address from info@ to "\"info"@. Was working fine before for mass email. all other fields work as normal

Thunderbird V45.1.0, Mail merge 4.6.0 Has developed an issue with recipients email address in the To box field. All other fields are fine. Have previously sent mass mails from Excel Mac 2011 (CSV) without an issue.
