I recently purchased a new computer. All my files more transferred over. My favorites are all gone (I might have accidentally deleted them). I can do without the favorites. My bookmark (tabs?) are all gone. I never saw when I when I installed Firefox. I never set up a profile or anything like that. I had my old computer for 10 years or so and had to get this new one. Can I restore my old bookmarks?

I type bookmarks in the search field and I get bookmarks 'favorites' that are old but not the tabs I want. I also get bookmark 2020-04-30.... but this doesn't open I don't think this is it.

How? Did you use Sync to synchronize your data from the old PC to the new PC?
Or a different method of synchronization?

Or perhaps, did you manually copy your Firefox data files from the old PC and then paste those files into the new Firefox installation?
If you did it that way, are you sure that you pasted those files into the correct location in Firefox?

Firefox automatically creates a "Profile" upon installation, so you do have a Profile. If not Firefox will tell you that your Profile is missing.
