Firefox insanley lagging in Ubuntu 21.04 LTS
I use Firefox on Ubuntu 21.04 LTS and recently started facing delay of 3-4 seconds while trying to open any add-ons in top bar or even when trying to navigate application menu. I recently moved from windows to Ubuntu, no such lag or delay was there in windows.
What I tried- I tried to troubleshoot this problem with the help of troubleshooter present in Firefox and used the 'Refresh Firefox' option but still it was lagging too much. I also tried to remove all add-ons but still it was of no use. My system is fast enough to handle Firefox.

Can you show what is running when you open Firefox? I had a similar issue last year with Firefox performance and it turned out to be a bug.

Can you try Firefox in a different user profile to see if you have the same issue? How about downloading a separate copy to a folder and run it from there to see if you have the same issue.

I did everything, fresh installation and everything possible, at the end I had to create a bug at https://bugzilla.mozilla.org/show_bug.cgi?id=1709763 you can see all the details over there. Also I have the same Firefox configuration in windows and it doesn't lag over there.
