How do I get my incoming messages for different accounts to download into a global inbox

If these are POP accounts, you can create a global view so that it appears as one inbox. Info on doing that is here:
https://support.mozilla.org/en-US/kb/unify-your-pop-email-accounts-global-inbox The messages are still, technically, in their account folders.
