"resume downloading firefox 3.6.11" doesn't work - it just switches to "paused downloading firefox 3.6.11"

My automatic update in Firefox isn't working. It says "resume downloading firefox 3.6.11" but, when I click on this, I get a box with a blue bar and the comment "paused downloading firefox 3.6.11" -- and nothing happens

Remove the files in the updates and updates\0 folder: 

C:\Documents and Settings\<user>\Local Settings\Application Data\Mozilla\Firefox\Mozilla Firefox\updates
(%USERPROFILE%\Local Settings\Application Data\Mozilla\Firefox\Mozilla Firefox\updates)
