password not saving
hi there. for as long as i've used firefox, i've had no problem saving the login/password info for sites i visit ... until recently. i am now running windows 7 on two diff machines and have had to reinstall firefox 3.6. all of my logins/passwords for all of the sites i visit continue to save ... except for one.
the webmaster of the site INSISTS that they have NOT disabled password saving on their site, but i have been unable to get firefox to even prompt me to save the login/password when i visit this site. i have now tried it on four different machines (the first two and now two more). the weird thing is, my colleague has had the same site bookmarked on her machine (running vista) for more than a year and it still saves the login/password. it's only on new machines, machines that have been upgraded, or machines that only recently attempted to log in to the site for the first time.
anybody have any ideas? again, the webmaster insists they haven't prohibited saving and it DOES work on a machine that has had the password saved for a while. it just seems to be a new thing.
anybody have any ideas why

just checking to see if anyone has any insight into this...
It is possible that the Google Toolbar is interfering with saving passwords.
Start Firefox in Diagnose Firefox issues using Troubleshoot Mode to check if one of the add-ons is causing the problem (switch to the DEFAULT theme: Tools > Add-ons > Themes).
- Don't make any changes on the Safe mode start window.

so i started firefox in safe mode but the password is still not saving.
any other ideas?
still having the same issue, and after following suggested steps above determined it's not google toolbar causing the problem. i've replicated it on four different machines using three different operating systems (windows 7 home, windows 7 pro, windows vista home) - but all the same version of firefox.
anybody else have any suggestions/solutions...?
it also seems only to be on this one site, but - again - the web master of the site is absolutely insistent that they didn't make any changes to their security requirements and so the problem MUST be on my end.
help?
