When I type an address in the address bar I have no error that would take me to the site. Also, when I open a new tab I can't type anything in the address bar
Somehow BIng toolbar got downloaded on my system and I have deleted that, but now I type an website in the address bar and there is no error to go to the site.
When I open a new tab, I can't type any webiste into that tab.

Start Firefox in Diagnose Firefox issues using Troubleshoot Mode to check if one of the extensions is causing the problem (switch to the DEFAULT theme: Firefox (Tools) > Add-ons > Appearance/Themes).
- Don't make any changes on the Safe mode start window.
