Thunderbird keeps freezing up.
Thunderbird freezes up whenever I try to use it. Startup of Thunderbird is slow. Reinstalled both Firefox and Thunderbird; disabled AVG email security; reinstalled all and it still hangs.

The following is not too technical - just all the instructions....
Start *Windows'* safe mode with networking enabled - win7 http://windows.microsoft.com/en-us/windows/start-computer-safe-mode#start-computer-safe-mode=windows-7 Still In Windows safe mode, start thunderbird in safe mode - https://support.mozilla.org/kb/safe-mode-thunderbird
