I used to see google doodles in Firefox, but they went away one day last week. I can still see doodles in Internet Explorer.

Google Doodles are the fun, surprising, and sometimes spontaneous changes that are made to the Google logo to celebrate holidays, anniversaries, and the lives of famous artists, pioneers and scientists.
There shouldn't be any Google Doodles at the moment,   and yet you can see them in Internet Explorer     --     that's remarkable.

There is one today on National Parks. I can see it if I log out of my google account.

But not on the usual Google page, though   ?
Cause I tried it of course before posting my reply   (I must admit:   in Edge and not in Internet Explorer,  but that shouldn't make a difference).
Maybe you and I are talking about two completely different Google-sites   ?

Those Doodles last week were funny, though   !

I rarely log into my Google account, so maybe that's why I still see them. I wonder if it's possible there is a setting in your account not to show them? I didn't see any reference to that in a Google search.

I did see an article from 2013 saying that if you set a background for the Google home page, that could replace the standard page and prevent the doodle from appearing, but who knows whether that is still relevant in 2016...

I rarely log into my Google account either, but I just did;   first using Edge, then using Firefox.
Not a single Doodle put a smile upon my face   .........
I never used any settings not to show them   (?)
Oh well:   the more we'll enjoy them once they 'surprise' us again, won't we   ?
