When I minimize Firefox, it will not come back up by clicking or double clicking the icon on the bottom of my Mac. This is new, as it was working before, but I am unsure of how to reset that function. The only way I can bring it back up now is to click on the "new tab" drop down menu under file at the top left portion of the screen. I would very much appreciate some instruction on how to reset this function. Thank you.

Hi youngma71, Firefox should not be able to prevent you from maximizing a minimized window. At least there is no obvious feature. What is interesting, this question was asked last week too. Is there a chance that you pressed Command+h to hide all the applications' windows. The shortcut to unhide all is Command+Tab to tab between applications. If you use the shortcuts does the window unminimize?

The other work around was that you can right click the minimized icon and select the window.
