I have my background color set to light grey. It shows white about 95% of the time. I have photophobia and cannot stand being blinded every time I open firefox. I just updated to 57.0.1 and was hoping they fixed it, nope. What it does now is just flashes my color for a brief second and back to white, when I both open firefox and a new tab. I've changed the colors around, saved setting about 60 times and still nothing. I would really like a fix because it's making me nauseous.

Were you using an add-on to do this for you? It might not be compatible with the current Firefox.

Here are your choices; 1) Contact its support and ask if they will update 2) Find a replacement 3) Downgrade to a prior Firefox 4) Do without
