I have my bookmarks sorted into folders and I want to search a specific folder. I went to Bookmarks>Show All Bookmarks and I selected the folder I want, which happens to be Quilting. I know I have a bookmark for a quilt with pine trees so I put tree in the Search Bookmarks box and I get every bookmark with the word tree. Not just bookmarks in Quilting but in every folder. Can you search just a specific folder?

There is no direct native way to preform the action, but you can better organize your bookmarks with tags. Bookmark Tags - Categorize bookmarks to make them easy to find

There is also an addon for advanced bookmarking that I believe can do what you are asking: https://addons.mozilla.org/en-US/firefox/addon/bookmarks-manager-and-viewer
