How do I see my bookmarks on the left side of the screen? I used to have icons to turn this instantly on and off. (The icon was a little pile of books I think) New FF is HORRIBLE! I want my old FF back!

Put the Sidebars icon on the toolbar: Customize Firefox controls, buttons and toolbars .

You can also open the Sidebar with Ctrl+B.
