I cannot find where to go to get the FF tool bar. I've gone to options but still can't find it.
I downloaded FF 4 a few days ago and I can't locate where to go to get the FF tool bar installed plus I don't see the orange FF logo on the left side of my screen.

Did you try: View > Toolbars and CHECK the Bookmark Toolbar?
That's the toolbar listed all your favorite sites which can access easily.

Are you in the Full Screen mode? Press F11 to see if that helps.
Sorry, It didn't help and I lost the upper portions of my screen where the File, Edit, etc. are located. Any other suggestions would be appreciated. ' Thanks, Leeflea
Try to press ALT on your keyboard to see if that does any good.
Silk. do you mean press ALT plus f11 or just alt? Leeflea.
Just ALT.
F11 is to toggle between Full Screen Mode while "ALT" is to show the Menu Bar if it is being hidden. However, in your case, since you do not see the orange Firefox icon, this might not work. Let us know.
Silk, I still cannot see the yellow icon box. I downloaded the other day to FF 4. Should I have un-installed the previous versions?
I miss being able to put up my regular websites I visit like CNN, FB, etc. What am I incorrectly doing? Leeflea.
You said "I've gone to options but still can't find it", what Options are you talking about and where did you find it?
Did you see any toolbars at all? If so, right click on it to see if you can see anything.
I went under tool and scrolled to options and clicked on it but saw no 'toolbars'. Will go and right click. thanks, Leeflea
If none of the above works, please read this article to check if any of your add-ons is causing the problem:

I did so and saw symbols which make no sense to me. Really all I want is a place on the toolbar to my favorite websites.

OK, I think we have to start all over. What do you mean by "FF tool bar"? All these time I thought you mean the "Menu Bar" which you should already have since you have the "Tools" option.
So what 'FF tool bar' are you talking about?
Thanks. Will do. You are most kind and I'm much obliged. Leeflea
Silk all current updates are installed. Maybe I need to reboot just to make sure. Please be so kind as to keep our lines of communication open as you are the only one kind enough to respond. Leeflea

OK, I think you mean the 'Bookmark' toolbar:
View > Toolbars and CHECK the Bookmar toolbar
Hey Silk, I must, first of all, confess my ignorance with computers. I went to the site but couldn't make sense of it either I'm ashamed to say. Maybe you've just reached a person who is either incapable or just stupid. Lee
