Hi guys,

Not sure how to contact your support team but you really need to develop an option to be able to automatically empty the outbox at a chosen interval, for example every 5 minutes. I used to use the add on BlunderDelay to do this, but now very annoyingly this does not work in the latest Thunderbird.

The main reason is that pressing send or CTRL+Enter always takes a few seconds for the email to actually send, sometimes a lot longer if it contains an attachment. It is far more convenient to press CTRL+SHIFT+Enter so that it instantly goes into the outbox. I used to set BlunderDelay to run every 5 minutes, which also enabled me to edit an email if I realised it was wrong etc.

Please could you incorporate this into your next release?

Try this addon as it allows setting time intervals.

The problem is I need it all to work in one action. Send Later shows a pop up each time, I need a keyboard shortcut that will make the email send 5 minutes later. I also need to be able to see the email in the outbox if necessary.

Give this a read to see if it offers something to improve the situation. https://blog.kamens.us/send-later/

Unofrtunately as stated previously this does not offer a solution, since you cannot place the email in the outbox AND have it automatically send after a few minutes with a single shortcut button. The time wasted by click various buttons means I may as well just click send and wait the few seconds for it to actually send each time.

Just to confirm, the reason I previously used BlunderDelay was so that I could press CTRL+SHFT+Enter to place the email straight into the outbox (knowing it would automatically send 5 mins later). This is better than clicking CTRL+Enter and having to wait a few seconds for the message to send each time.
