Since the new version of Thunderbird 68.8.1, the search portion within the different files no longer works - it is now global - and is not finding emails that I must find. It says nothing is there - and most definitely is as I just deleted it and the trash isn't showing it. This is happening with other files as well. I am not happy with this new version.

Some folders like Trash and Junk are excluded from Global Search by default, but you can enable it by right-clicking the folder, Properties, and checking the box for Global Search. You might also need to rebuild the database.
