Thunderbird address book contact data field names
I'm looking to migrate the data from my current personal information manager, SideKick98, to an application compatible with Windows10 and later. Can the names of the fields in Thunderbird contacts be changed? Are access to the data stored as contact information protected by the top level password? Is the contact data stored in a form that is either encrypted or not easily read?

Data is stored in an Sqlite database based on the vcard V4.0 standard. Operating systems come with encrypted file systems, user passwords and other security features. Wanting to depend on application level security is not a good idea these days as application developers are rarely versed in security. It is a specialty. Hence the decades of Microsoft office password crackers.
