Hi, my installation of Thunderbird recently got updated to version 102.2.1 (32-bit). Now, I find that the unified folders no longer show the correct total number of emails in the folder, and the emails themselves do not appear in the unified folders. Only if we expand the sub-folders are we able to see the number of emails under each subfolder. This is very inconvenient, as sometimes, it's easier to just look at or delete emails from the unified folder instead of going to each subfolder to view, move or delete them.

For example, see the attached screenshot of the "Deleted" unified folder. It doesn't show the total number of deleted emails (which should be 69), or the emails themselves. Also, if you look at the "Inbox" unified folder, it shows the total number of emails as 7, whereas it should be 78!

Hope I've been able to make the issue understood. Please have a look and resolve ASAP.

Best regards, Suhas.

Try this: - untick unified folders first (view>folders) - exit thunderbird - in File Explorer, go to profile, click to Mail folder and delete (or rename) 'smart folders' - in File Explorer, go to profile, delete (or rename) virtualfolders.dat - restart thunderbird - now tick unified folders (view>folders>unified) I think that may fix your issue. A few users have had the same issue and those steps resolved it, so I hope it does the same for you.

I found a solution to this for my system:

In case anyone else has this problem, I followed the suggestion by Zorpheus in this threadhttps://support.mozilla.org/en-US/que.../1003446 , and picked the Inbox folders for all my accounts, and that fixed it.
