When i web search, i get a list of related topics, when i click on a topic, i'm taken to an advertising site not related....the only way i can manuever to a website is to type it in myself...
I cannot click and open a link after searching generic terms....all the links take me to a advertisement NOT RELATED webpage...I have to actually input a website in the browser to go to a website

Do a malware check with some malware scanning programs.
You need to scan with all programs because each program detects different malware.
Make sure that you update each program to get the latest version of their databases before doing a scan.
