How to find bit version of firefox? Whether it is 32 bit or 64 bit.
If I install firefox x.y.z version on Windows7 Enterprise SP1 64 bit OS, How can I find, Whether installed version of firefox is 32 bit or 64 bit?
I know, To the best of my knowledge, Firefox supports only 32 bit edition/version, But how to find out? Where is the path for finding it out?
Thanks, Govardhan.

In a 64-bit Microsoft Windows environment, all 64-bit applications are installed into:
- C:\Program Files\
And all 32-bit applications are installed into:
- C:\Program Files (x86)\
You should find a "Mozilla Firefox" folder in one of those directories. If its the x86 Program Files directory, it is a 32-bit install of Firefox.

Dear Firemike, Hatsoff to you.
Before posting a question, I cross checked "Program Files" and "Program Files (x86)". "Mozilla Firefox" folder is present in "Program Files (x86)".
But I'm unable to make out (draw conclusion) that it is for sure 32-bit edition/version.
My appreciations and great thanks to you for immediate and prompt resolution.
Happy Diwali! :-)
Hello gova.mca,
You can draw the conclusion for sure.
Because of the x86 program folder part. The reason for this is that Microsoft Windows will not let any 32 bit program be part of (C:\Program Files) - they end up in the x86 program folder because Windows knows what is 32bit and what is 64bit, when the program gets installed.
Cheers, Mike
Oh! There the traffic police is!!! (Diversion takes place). Got it.
Mr. Firemike, Do Firefox comes with 64 bit edition/version as well? Just giong crazy for drawing conclusions. Please give your comments.
If yes, Please share link for 32bit editions and 64bit editions as well.
Thanks again.
