How to stop Firefox from opening previously closed tab after shutdown?

I have had an issue where Firefox will open a tab from a previous session after I have closed it. I have restore previous session enabled, but do not think it applies to the tabs I closed already. This is an inconvenience, because, there are tabs I don't want my significant other to see I have been searching(surprise gifts, etc).

You can remove history on shut down or remove them individually if you did not use a private tab to see those tabs you would like to hide.

Another way to disable tabs undo is through the about:config. Please remember to change to change it back later ;-)
