Why don't you provide an option to manage and export bookmarks as in full firefox

Every time I have to factory reset my tablet, I lose my firefox bookmarks, sick to death of this problem. Why can't Mozilla just give us an option to save the bookmarks somewhere else, say in the "Downloads" folder. I have read some of the posts suggesting a way of doing this using a ridiculously complicated process - RUBBISH ! I have also read about Firefox Sync - not an option as I cannot run firefox with cookies enabled, this is the only way to beat the paywalls of some online newspapers I use firefox to read.

Hi

If you factory reset your device you will delete your Firefox for Android bookmarks in the same way you delete the information in other apps on your device.

Firefox Sync does allow you to transfer a copy of your data to another copy of Firefox on another device. Personally I do not keep Firefox Sync running all the time, but I do turn it on to force a copy of my bookmarks between devices occasionally.

I do not know the instructions you mention with regards to the Firefox for Android profile, but chances are it is complex not necessarily because of what the developers want to do, but due to potential constraints imposed by the operating system they are working with (Android).

I hope this helps.
