Is there a maximum number of addresses in a mailing list group that Thunderbird can cope with at a time?

Once a year I send out an e-mail to about 300 people. In the past, with other systems, I've broken this into small groups of perhaps 30. Do we know what size of group Thunderbird can send to at one go?

This is a double bunger question. The most important part is what are the limits imposed by my mail provider. They will be much lower that the mailing list limit of Thunderbird.

Ah - thanks, Matt! My provider is Tiscali, supposedly supported by TalkTalk, but not properly. It has mega limitations, so I think I'll keep my groups to about 30 and see how that goes. Cheers - and may your Sunday be filled with God's blessings!
