Can't access Thunderbird as says password is incorrect
I have a sky email which I accessed through Thunderbird however I've had to reset my pc today and now when I try to access Thunderbird it says my username or password is incorrect. I've gone to Options and selected Security however there are no saved passwords in the box. Can anyone help?

Would you expect so see saved passwords there? If so, why?

I had to recovery my pc yesterday and now when I reinstalled Thunderbird, I can see my page for inbox, outbox etc however when I click on get messages I get the following message - attached snip.
Can you help so I can get my messages as this is the box which pops up each time. I have checked with Sky, as it is a sky email and the pop server details are as in image attached and the message "Incoming server already exists"

I had to recover my pc today and whilst I reinstalled Thunderbird and can see my email page with the Inbox etc, I cannot get emails or send emails. I get the message - snip attached.

I use a password to access Thunderbird - and I know it is the correct one. Something hasn't gone right since I recovered my pc and reinstalled. I've called my email supplier, Sky, who have given me the details for the server however it is still not letting me get emails in or send. See attached snip.
When I click on Done the message which pops up advises I already have an incoming server. So what isn't right that I can't receive or send?
Please post your Troubleshooting Information. At the top right of the Thunderbird window, click the menu button , then select Help > Troubleshooting Information. Press the "Copy text to clipboard button" and paste the information into your reply.
Hi there.
I followed your instructions however when I click on "Copy text to clipboard button" nothing happens.
There's a button to send all the information via email....but to whom? Plus I cannot get any emails inbound or sent.
I'm at a loss as to how to get my mail back when I can see the page with inbox etc on it. My settings for the server are correct as I spent some time with them on the phone. There is something stopping me getting full access and I don't want to give up.
Thank you for your time so far. I appreciate it.

Well, what happens is you copy the selected text to the clipboard. Then you can paste it into your forum reply. I'd assume you're familiar with the concept of copy and paste?
Hello and sorry I've not replied back however been working etc.
I had a look in the troubleshooter and there was plenty of information there. I see a clipboard and also a send via email - I can't get any emails sent or received. That is my problem.
When I open Thunderbird it opens on my mail page where I can see my inbox etc. I can see the toolbars. A pop up asks me for my password -which I know - and then I get the message that pop server responded. Server error. I've checked with Sky and the details are correct for the server so I don't understand how I cannot send or receive emails. Thunderbird did an update the night before this happened. I have attached snips from the screen so you can see the message. I don't know what else to do. And yes I'm very familiar with copy and paste.

This is a web forum, not a mailing list. You cannot post to the forum via email. You'll have to paste your Troubleshooting Information in the clipboard into your forum response. And you post to the forum via web browser. Since you already responded to this topic multiple times already evidently this isn't a problem.
For your information all the posts I've put on here have been via the forum. I haven't sent anything by email as I can't get into the blessed thing.
The snip attachments were sent via this forum also - not by email.
Seems you don't understand the issue so you needn't bother to respond any further.
