Hi I am developing a web site or shall I say trying to improve it.

We installed a thumbnail generator called Image Magic on this site. Now I get some broken thumbnail images on the site and these vary with each page load. This phenomenon does not occur in Internet Explorer.

We ran firebug and the headers are coming back NetworkError: 508 unused for these particular thumbnails. We know this means the that the request has pooched our servers resources fetching these broken thumbnails but again this only happens in FF.

We also know all links are correct because the thumbnails run under the same script and only approx half are affected.

Why is FireFox slamming webserver resources with it's requests? I have been puzzled with this issue for days now.
