Whenever I open or bring my Firefox window to focus, my menu bar sort of disappears. The File, History, Help, etc still appear, but cannot be selected or used, and the quicklaunch and battery life icons disappear entirely. Minimising the Firefox window, the icons return and are fully functional, so I believe this is a Firefox problem. It began about 3 days ago, and I can't think of anything that would've caused it. I've had the same window open for at least a few weeks, so an update or opening a new window hasn't caused this.

I've included screenshots; should be much more helpful.

Make sure that you do not run Firefox in full screen mode (press F11 or Fn + F11 to toggle; Mac: command+Shift+F).

If you are in full screen mode then hover the mouse to the top to make the Navigation Toolbar and Tab bar appear. Click the Maximize button (top right corner of the Navigation Toolbar) to leave full screen mode or right-click empty space on a toolbar and choose "Exit Full Screen Mode" or press the F11 key.

You can check for problems with the localstore.rdf file.

Try to remove the Firefox plist file (org.mozilla.firefox.plist).

Go to "~/Library/Preferences" and remove the plist file for Firefox (org.mozilla.firefox.plist)

I know for certain it's not in full-screen, doesn't even look like it. But I have toggled between it to see if that would solve it.
