I'm trying to create a keyboard shortcut in Thunderbird (45.1.1 as of now), using Keyconfig. There are several examples of various shortcut 'syntaxes' available. However, I'm trying to create a shortcut that will change the 'open' folder.

It's been quite frustrating attempting to find what commands are available in Thunderbird for things like this. I'm sure developers have access to something like this, but I've had no luck finding it.

Thanks!

Neil

You might get a better response in the keyconfig forum, but in the meantime, consider these add-ons which may already accomplish your aims:

OK, a little clarification - the changing of folders is only one step in the 'macro' I'm trying to create with Keyconfig. So, I need to know what command(s) to enter into Keyconfig to accomplish the move.

Thanks!

Have you seen these?

Yes, those are what got me started. Unfortunately, the suggested custom code there for going to a specific folder has at least one command that's no longer supported, getElementById. Research also led me to use syntax including commands GetMsgFolderFromUri and MailUtils.getFolderForURI, both no longer supported, as far as I can find out.

Thanks!
