I need to enlarge tb as a window and I need msgs enlarged, thanks!
the size of text in the window is too small, and msg are too small, how do I enlarge text on both using one hand.thanks!

Options----Display: size of text will not hold for me. I set it to some larger text size, press OK, then the same text size appears.
W7 is perfect, BOLD and right size for most things W10 laptop need help with enlarging.

The easy way to adjust the menus, listings and so on is to use an add-on.
To set the size for the text of messages is the same as it ever was. Tools|Display|Formatting|Advanced and set the sizes there. Note the sizes here are in pixels, not points. the "minimum font size" setting is probably the most significant one to adjust.

I should add that my own preference is to do this via files in the profile: userContent.css for message text, and userChrome.css for the menus etc.
A man was here on Dec.26th to put tb in W10---he's now at work in different city.The add-on you mentioned, theme changer, I have on all my computers.
I'm positive he put in on this. The problem arose when it had not synced completely with W7.I thought he could open a msg to let me see how big it is and I was wrong about that.
This morning I see it is too small to read. I'm writing this on W7, as I can't see the type on W10.That particular add-on, is always first to disappear during updates, so if at all possible, I don't want to go there. The add-on comes back the next day, but I still am reluctant to go there.
