I have found on several occasions this year that forms I've completed can't be submitted via Firefox - noticeably forms for financial services, but not exclusively, I'm usually allowed to fill in the form but I get some sort of error when I submit. These are usually vague like 'opps, something went wrong' and several attempts will not work. However, these work smoothly on Chrome or Edge.

The first time this happened there was actual php code and variables appearing in some fields and I gave the company a pretty hard time for not making sure their stuff worked on FireFox, but I feel a bit of an old meanie for doing that now I've seen how regularly I get submission problems.

Anyone come across this and anyone found a fix?

Make sure you are not blocking content.

A small dialog should appear. Click Start In Troubleshoot(Safe) Mode (not Refresh). Is the problem still there?

There is security software like Avast, Kaspersky, BitDefender and ESET that intercept secure connection certificates and send their own.

I don't run any anti-virus stuff except windows defender so I don't think it's that. But, I wasn't aware of the safe mode on Firefox and I'll try that next time I encounter this problem.
