No longer able to access my email using thunderbird since 1/10/2022. However when using outlook or webmail there are no problems. I am running Thunderbird version 91.5.0 ( 32 bit version) on a PC running Windows 10 version 21H1 built 19043.1415 using windows defender. I am using Aplus servers as the domain servers. In the last few weeks we had to re-enter the password during the day when using the email account as it would somehow loose it. Right now we can access the account through webmail on this computer and via outlook on another computer using the same password. When Thunderbird can not connect it comes back asking re-enter the password. Every once in while Thunrderbird will get through but very rarely.

Hi I am no expert, but if you add some more information perhaps someone more qualified will see this. Are you hosting your own email service on Aplus? Or, using email based on a provider such as Gmail, Yahoo...? Or, using a corporate email system on Microsoft Exchange? What is the exact error message you see when TB asks for the password? - a screen shot would be very helpful.
