My computer is suddenly not allowing any websites to connect. They all start with Untrusted Connection. It's EXTREMELY annoying. I just updated my Firefox version have restarted my computer twice. I have two other computers on my network in the office that do not have this problem, so I don't think it's my actual internet connection that's the problem - some setting must have been changed and I don't know what it was.

Check the Date and Time on your system to be sure that they are correct.

  1. If your system does not hold the Date/Time after being powered down and left off for a few minutes, the battery on your motherboard may need to be replaced. I replace mine about every 12 to 18 months to avoid such problems.
  2. If the Date is incorrect on your system, it may fall outside of the "Issued On" and "Expires On" dates for the certificate.
  3. To view the dates for the certificate(s) you should click on the Site Identity Button (colored icon on the left end of the Location/URL bar), then click "More Information", the Page Info window will open, click the Security Tab, then click View Certificate.
