I am up to date using 9.0.1 yet it say's I need to update after clciking on the home page upper right hand conner many times it ( say I need to up date.) finally goes away.

I am using Firefox 9.0.1 when I log on I notice it says I need to update ....after I click on the little house in the upper right hand corner many times I finally get a start page with out the notation about updating. But after I go to a web page and come back to the home page there again it's saying I need to up date again I must click on the little house over and over again to get back to a clean clean home page that isn't telling me that i need to update. I can't figure out why...

This - http://www.google.com/firefox - is the old Firefox Start Page used by the Firefox 3.6 and earlier versions of Firefox, I don't think it is being maintained by Google.

Starting with the Firefox 4 version, Firefox is using a "local" Start Page with the address of about:home. It looks similar to the old Start Page, but it isn't exactly the same.
