Why Half history is missing and how to restore all of it?

My history got wiped out when performed run command clean up in Windows 7. I found a way to restore the start menu icon with the tabs in it in start menu. When i open FF and go to history on the left side of the window i have just the last few pages i opened.When i open the show all history tab in the sidebar i have no history,even the pages showing in the short history window are missing. My most visited web sites showing when i open new tab are missing as well. Obviously there is still some history left when i can see the last few tabs,why everything else is missing? HOW do i get both of this back? Need help ASAP
